Thanks for your reply, it seems we have the same issue but no solutions.
The same problem keeps happening, I am 40 miles in to my journey to the south of France and its happening again. No warning lights, temp level normal, I am doing 100kmph and its the same issue now. Has anyone found any solutions? Does anyone know how to stop this issue occuring? Its so annoying, I had the car living in North Africa for a few years with no issues. I brought it back home to London last week driving from Africa, through France and to London and it happened once. I am currently driving to Monaco with it as we speak and its happening all the way. Why is it only happening now? Help! Its breaking my heart!! |

Just to check, was the replacement injector new, if so was it a branded replacement and did you have it's code programmed into the ECU.
Secondly, as it sounds like a fuelling issue, there are a number of things to check... Firstly I'd check the fuel pipes that would have been disturbed when the injector was changed - at high load a tiny weep could allow air in. Next I'd look at changing your fuel filter, again ensuring it's a branded one of good quality (I had an issue with a Bearmach one only a few weeks ago documented on this forum with intermittent loss of power). Then I'd look at the VCV with a view to changing it and doing a fuel pump re-learn etc. - again well documented on here. Hope that gives you some pointers to start looking Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon Then: 2004 2.5 TD5 90 Hard Top (X-Tech Edition) |
