Air operated grease gun
I'm fed up with filling my grease gun from bulk grease so I have decided to purchase a cartridge gun. However at the same time I would like to opt for air operated.

I know that their are cordless 18 volt guns on the market but as I have a large compressor I may as well go down the air operated route. Can anyone recommend an air operated grease gun for use with cartridges rather than bulk grease? Defender 90XS SW

I use Millers Oils Delta 2EP - 400g Cartridge from Opie oils.
They are doing discounts this weekend.

Marks Landy. Thanks for the info on cartridges. I'm really interested on recommendations for air operated cartridge grease guns.

I have an old Tecalemit air operated grease gun that connects to a 12.5kg keg but with my small "fleet" of cars and tractors it will be easier with an air operated cartridge gun. Defender 90XS SW

I thought about this a few years ago, but couldn't find any decent recommdations, so I just bought a nice quite expensive manual one.

Whatever you end up with, fit a Lock n Lube coupler. They are great. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

JST. The Clarke air grease gun looks like what I'm after. I'm off to Machine Mart next week so I'll pick one up. Thanks for recommendation. Defender 90XS SW

Bluest, thanks for that. How do I get a VAT free voucher. I'm on their mailing list, is it sent out with their mini catalogue? Defender 90XS SW

I picked up a Draper one many years ago for very little money.
I use it with a needle nose type nozzle which makes it easier to get into the UJ grease nipples and other tight spaces.
I know Draper isn't the best of quality, but it has worked faultlessly over the years and is so much easier than the hand lever type cartridge guns, where I find I need three arms to use!!!
