If it's going down the right hand side then it'll likely be the breather pipe. See here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic25866.html
If it's coming down the front then may be the seal for the fuel pump or the pipe to pump fittings. The plastic tanks themselves don't really leak. |

Cutting a hole in the floor might be the way to fix the fuel leak on your 90 if it’s the pipe work:

Thanks for all the replies chaps. It was the breather pipe. New one on, as well as new clips on the main pipe and all seems good.

Hi,
It was my local indy who did it for me, they have defenders so know a thing or two. It was all down the right hand side, the top of the tank was all dry and OK. They did drop the tank out, and changed the breather pipe and also the main filler pipe too whilst they were in there. Also gave me a chance to rust proof the floor above the tank and rust proof and re paint the supporting tray, so all in all a good job. Cheers. |
