Looks like the same style of camping solutions that 110 Technik UK sell
https://www.110technik.co.uk/camper-systems Edit: found the actual manufactures, German company KAUA'I https://www.kauai-camper.de/produkte/sonde...er-ausbau/ |

Looks comfortable and sturdy but where do you store the cushions and frame work when your not in camping mode?!?! Working towards Carry on camping!

in your garage, loft, garden shed, under the stairs. Where ever you like.
I think the point is you can convert your car into a camper when you want to go away for a weekend or what ever and change it back into a car when you get home. Rather than it being a convertible sleeping/living compartment. |

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge This folding shelf is exactly what I'm looking for for my 90's load area, but theres no way I would pay anywhere near the €1,400 for what is basically 4 bits of laminate wood hinged together. Anything defender related seems to always be ridiculously priced |

The system your looking at looks similar to that used by Wyvern

I made something similar, ok not as elegant and I can't flip it up like that, but for around £50 including ply, wood for the frame, rubber etc. and an hour of time I made this. It's lasted 5 years (rubbers starting to go now) but it's had 3-400kg on top of it at times without issue. I don't think that one you're looking at would be strong enough without a centre support.
