Cable guides
Hi All
What is everyone doing to get light wires from the roof rack into the engine bay? I don’t want a snorkel and really don’t want to drill any holes in the roof (leaks enough as it is🤣🤣). I’m sure I can remember seeing something that went down the screen pillars but can’t find it now. If drilling the roof is the best option that’s ok but what connectors/ plugs have you used?
Cheers👍 Life is one big adventure, that's why we have the vehicle for the journey.

A marine grade cable gland is an option I have see but more typically used to the rear. (With the highest IP rating is best I.e. IP 68 upwards.)
I myself wouldn't like drilling anything too but if I had to choose the vertical rear roof section would be my choice and certainly not 'A' Pillar posts. No Guts, No Glory.

I got some little black cable tie attachments from screw fix. They have an adhesive pad on the back and a ring that the cable tie secures through. From memory they were less than a fiver for a big bag. The adhesive seems good so far. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop

And running the wires through some flexible conduit would make them look tidier too.
