England 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Java Black
Insurance advice
Hi
I’m looking for advice on insurance ,
I need to insure both my landrovers on a guranteed valuation policy .
My 2004 td5 csw 90 is valued by current insurance company at £4k😳🙄
It’s great nick and only 87k miles genuine 6 seats and patriot rack .
And split charge dual optimas ......I reckon Current market value £10-£15k
My second is a 1997 110 commercial 82k miles work truck and camper
Extras include ,
Brownchurch HD rack, splt charge dual battery and single battery with 100w solar,
Engel fridge and fridge slide, mantec/ flatdog storage bins and shelves ... howling moon awning
And an ostrich wing self supporting awning , water tank and water pump .
And soon a maggiolina roof tent or similar .....
Who would insure these landies ?
Cheers
Tom Have fun be happy

Hi Tom,

have you tried giving us a call at A-Plan in Thatcham?
We do specialist 4x4 cover and cover modifications - we also do have options for agreed valuation policies.

Best number to call is 01635 874646 or if you pm me your contact details I can get the team to call you instead?

Thanks

Both are mine are with A-Plan, great service and premium, although not guaranteed value. I was told a specialist valuer would assess in case of loss and market value would be given. I guess this is open to interpretation. Confused James

Thank you JOW240725. The specialist insurers do assess in the situation of a total loss, agreed value is something we can do however there are some requirements to qualify.

AV isn't always the best option as some models are increasing in market value all the time so in those cases it would be beneficial to stay on a market value policy rather than a set agreed value. Smile
