It is possible to change them, but your right, it’s a pig of a job! but like most things on the TDCI,
It’s easier and quicker to strip and refit surrounding parts to get the job done with much less hassle ![]() Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Don't replace it with anything other than a silicon hose or you will be doing it again in another 60000.

as a matter of interest, can if be driven with this pipe off? I know the air isn't filtered etc and it wont have any power, but will it still go? ordered nice 5 ply silicone ones, cant wait....

It can be done in situ, boiling water soak for the pipe and washing up liquid smeared on the inner lip. 4 elbows and 2 wrists and you’re there. My wife got mine on in the end 😂😂

I wouldn't asking for trouble. Will be in limp mode as well. When I did mine the local mechanic sent the apprentice and a roll of duct tape. Promptly got sent on his way. Mark |
