Steel wheels or Alloy? If steel then the loose nuts could have resulted in the wheel nut holes becoming ovalled and the wheel no longer centralising on the hub.
Also make sure the wheel mounting face and the back of the wheels is spotless. Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Mud terrains are notorious for wobbling.

Have a look to see if the outer tread blocks are worn unevenly, since this tends to happen on mud terrains that are used principally on the road, especially at higher speeds. You will probably find that alternate blocks are more worn.
This is a well-known phenomenon and there is little that can be done about it. |

Thanks.
However it only just started after the issue with the wheel nuts. There was no wobble before and seems to be linked to the wheel nuts being loose? Thanks for the help though. Tank |

600 miles with loose wheels would be enough to cause peculiar tyre wear. Have you tried swapping front and rear over to see if that makes a difference? It would at least tell you if the problem is with the wheels and tyres or with the axle.

Clever idea Blackwolf.
Inspected them last night and they look fine, no uneven wear etc? |

it's an easy one so as a matter of course I'd swap front / back diagonally.
