Tweeters in Puma Defender
Hi all,

Just ordered Alpine SPS 110TW tweeters for Puma Defender

Can I simply swap the tweeters using the existing wiring? Or do i need to use the crossover wiring they've supplied.

Hi, original fit tweeters have a 'crossover' filter built into them. The yellow capacitor on the back.
The wires to the tweeter provide a full range signal, so yes you'll have to use the crossover supplied by Alpine.

You may have to provide new wires from the crossover to the dash speakers too, depending on what's in the kit and how it's wired.
