Broken Rocker Cover
Question time, just got a new to us defender and after changing and cleaning up the rocker box cover, new seal, new injectors etc I have now seen that there is a hairline crack in the well of injector 2 in one corner. The question is, do I glue, sikka (suggestions) or is it toast and get a new cover. Help/thoughts appreciated. Cheers Thumbs Up

Crazy money c. £350 for a new cam cover from Land Rover.

But you should be able to use one from a rear wheel drive transit. (FWD ones have an extended oil filler on them) Loads of used ones of those about.
