Rich (of Rich Brit) sold a Spectre for a whopping £104k. Kudos to him.

Some of the specter replicas were built very well, with rose jointed suspension...etc but it makes driving them on tarmac very noisy

http://www.brittle.co.uk/listing/defender-...pu-2016my/ For that money I'd have wanted the rear seat belts all matched 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

For that money, I'd want Recaros all round and a double din at the very least!!
I'm sure it'll sell, but can only imagine spending that sort of money on what is essentially a toy! If only!! Good on them! Realistically, what's the cost of putting that together (on top of the standard car), less all of the frivolous tat?!! Cage, suspension, wheels, arches etc? 110 DCPU

And the fact that it seems to be plastered over everything seems a bit excessive, don't know whether it's just me or are all the various red things all different shades of red Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

Am I allowed to say that I like the rally-style spare wheel mount? Otherwise I think it's pretty revolting. Each to their own I suppose. If we were all the same, life would be boring.
I must say I think Brittle's self description as 'purveyors of distinguished automobiles' might be a little wide of the mark. Oxford English Dictionary describes the word 'distinguished' as: Dignified and noble in appearance or manner. Not sure any of their cars could be called 'dignified' or 'noble'. But at least they seem to have fun in what they do, so you cannot blame them. Check out the MPG on the following photo to see my point: Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
