[For Sale] Defender Td5/V8 Project

Hi All,

I'm selling my project defender as my TVR has decided to eat its engine. The defender started off as a Td5 which had done 190k miles, I stripped it back and had a replacement galvanised chassis for it. I also swapped out the Td5 engine and replaced it with a 4.0 V8 from a D2 with the outbox and transfer box (with CDL).

The chassis is currently sitting on 2" terrafirma springs and shocks with an additional 2" blocks to give an overall 4" lift. At the rear I have -2" Shock mounts to accommodate the lift. It has cranked radius arms at the rear and 3degree castor arms at the front all of which are using poly bushes.

The front axle has reconditioned with new half shafts and a reconditioned diff.

The V8 engine and box was taken from an extremely low miles disco 2 which had covered around 56k miles, I drove the car around for a short while to make sure I was happy with it.

The engine turns over but I'm struggling to get it to start, I have been advised by a few mechanics that this is due to me getting rid of the TC and ABS and so it needs to go onto a computer to reset its extras.

I've got a vast amount of parts for the car which will go with it, these include;

- B posts for double cab pick up in excellent condition
- Double cab tub from and late Td5/Puma car
- Wings
- New front doors/old style lifters
- Old doors, front and rear with some rust at the bottom
- Puma bulkhead with no rust
- Puma double cab roof with some damage but repairable
- Puma bonnet with some slight damage but repairable
- D2 wiring looming and electrics
- Genuine Spectre spats from the film set
- Puma front seat box
- Puma dash
- Brand new rear puma door

I've probably got a lot more that I've forgotten about but whatever you are more than welcome to view everything.

I'm not entirely sure what its all worth so if anyone has any thoughts on value it would be greatly appreciated. I have the V5 in my name along with all chassis tags for both the defender and D2 so should be no issues if you wish to reregister it with DVLA.
