+1 for Crumpler
https://www.crumpler.eu/sale find the one you like then google for a cheaper price. Little on the pricey side but bombproof, still using my laptop pack bought 13 years ago in a half price sale. |

Try Saddleback leather in the USA.
I have one of their Messenger bags & A Water bag. Virtually indestructible, 100 year warranty. Not light but always gets comments from people. Best if you can get someone Stateside to order/bring one back otherwise they are expensive Guy May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |

I use a Vaude one which is OK. It's getting a bit tatty but I travel every week with a laptop for work and it's searched every time I go in to a site so you can fogive it a bit.
A lot of my colleagues use Osprey bags and whilst I've never looked that closely they do appear to be holding up a little better. Apples to oranges though. |

I quite like the Brooks England stuff - maybe a bit pricey tho
