Series ambulance at Brooklands.
Took my son to Brooklands last week and found the attached on display.
My first trip there and awe enspiring to see sections of the old banked circuit. Incredible how steep the banking was...the days of real f1 racing!

Nice ambo!

Sorry to nitpick, but Brooklands was lost to racing in 1939 when the track was cut to facilitate access into and out from the aircraft factory, and Formula One didn't exist until 1950. That being said, and having spoken to those who witnessed racing at Brooklands before the war (including my father), it was one hell of a thing and I wish I could have seen it. It is a national shame that the world's first purpose built motor racing circuit hasn't been better preserved or restored.

The drivers of that era had the most extraordinary courage and skill and I doubt a modern top class racing driver could cope with what they had to. Serious respect!
