Dash top face vents stopped working
Circular dash top vents have stopped working. I can feel resistance in the direction selector, none more than usual though, any ideas where to look? Guessing I may need to take the dash out?

Well part of the dash. Just the centre section, and that's only held in by the radio and a couple of screws.

Mine had a selector problem when I got it. The Bowden cable had just come unclipped from the back of the control and there was a plastic cam wheel thing that needed slotting back into place. Easy fix.

I have a feeling it may not be the selector, from a quick search on here there may be a few things it could be. I'll look in to the selector though and the ducting for the face vents as the flow is still coming from the windscreen and bottom of the dash quite significantly.

Hopefully I'll be able to check the ducting with just removing the centre panel.

Yep that's what mine was like until I sorted the cable. Wink

The ducting for the face level vents is accessible from the centre section of the dash. But to be honest there's not much more work to take the rest of the dash out.
