Removal of upper tailgate or "cat flap" handle and
Can I have some advice please.

At some time in the past someone has tried to force open the rear cat flap handle by mutilating the loch with a screwdriver or similar.
I have bought a new handle and lock but after unscrewing the screws on the outside I cannot work out how to remove the handle or lock.

Any ideas anybody?

Thank you

No words of wisdom but maybe these might help, taken from the optional parts catalogue

As far as I remember there is a roll pin through the handle one the inside which needs to be knocked out which will allow the inner handle to be removed. Once this is removed from the inside of the tailgate the outer handle can be removed which will take with it the square shaft that the inner handle was mounted on (like a house door handle). 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

The roll pin is part no 90302262 in the picture above. If I recall correctly you have to push part 320047 against the adjacent spring, or possibly pull 320046 against the spring, to expose the roll pin.
