I tell you what I saw last week, and that was a ranger rover david beckham soft top thing. I had to look twice! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Looks an old fashioned design to me, a cross between a Ford Mondeo and a Volvo S80. Guess it was designed by the same team that came up with the DC100 Defender 90XS SW

Looks a load of rubbish to me.
It's a Jag XE with a photoshopped velar grill and badging etc. I hope/can't see LR diluting the brand that far and crossing over so much into JAG territory. |

It could have been worse I just wonder where they are getting the designers from

I've got it....no need to squint either!
I suspect it is just a bit of photoshop nonsense. Why devalue the brand further with a run of the mill saloon? |

If JLR is going for a Range Rover Saloon this may be a winner I could see people buying this design.

I can see this happening. Jaguar is not doing anything like as well as LR. Almost never see XJs, and the smaller ones are nowhere near as popular as their German rivals. I've not checked, but I bet their best selling models are the SUVs, which are just cannibalising LR sales really. Why not try a Range Rover saloon and see if it can do better than Jag? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
