If you have an airline then consider an air powered cartridge grease gun.
It makes life very easy if you use in conjunction with a flexible pipe and needle point type fitting. One hand to push and hold the needle point injector into the ball on the grease nipple and the other to squeeze the trigger on the grease gun. I find the needle type injectors are better than the ones which grip the grease nipples as they need less space. Especially when greasing LR prop UJs. But difficult to use if you have a manual lever type grease gun as you then need three hands!! Just my preference, but others may well say the grip on type fittings are better. As for grease, on UJ's I just use bog standard universal lithium grease cartridges from our local agricultural machinery/ John Deere dealer. |

Thanks apt100 for posting the link to the topic where I mentioned the air powered Draper grease gun.
I forgot I had mentioned it before. (must be an age thing!) Don't be put off by the Draper brand Timcat. It has been 100% reliable despite being dragged around the garage floor and dropped a few times. Quick search on t'internet and it looks like they can be bought for around £30. It worked a treat last weekend when I serviced my 110. And this is the sort of thing to replace the "grip on" fitting : https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/...lsQ8wII5QI |
