South Yorkshire/North Notts Servicing?
Hey all - having recently moved up from the smoke, currently looking for a local specialist for servicing. I'm now based between Doncaster and Retford - has anybody got any recommendations (or places to avoid) in the area? Happy to travel (within reason) for a good place... 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

Duckworths at Market Rasen?

Never used them for servicing (they're 170 miles away from me!), but they are excellent for parts and are a site sponsor. 2014 110 XS Utility

Thanks for that jrw - bit of a trek, but got to be better than the taking it to Stratstone...

Have actually been recommended a local indie too - Maltings Off Road - which is a little closer. Anyone any experience? 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

Stratstone Doncaster are extremely competitive when it comes to car sales but their service department will not move on price and therefore I have used Duckworths Market Rasen who will negotiate on servicing costs. I've not tried Maltings who are only a few miles away from where I live due to the fact my two current Land Rovers are both under warranty and due to price reductions by Duckworths. The good thing about Duckworths compared to most JLR Dealers is that they have a mechanic who is a Defender nerd who knows Defenders inside out.

I've heard both good and not so good reports about Maltings. My Defender will be out of warranty shortly so I may consider Maltings if there is a considerable difference in price compared to Duckworths. Defender 90XS SW
