I bought this around 2 years ago on a whim as I agreed to do a charity cycle ride.
I never did! I cycled the 4 miles home from Halfords and have been moving it around my Garage ever since. It cost me £650 and I fitted mudguards and a bike computer. A complete bargain at £275 now reduced to £225 Located B78 3PL on M42/M6/ http://www.wiggle.co.uk/boardman-hybrid-race/ Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cheers Clemmo Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... Can you clarify size please
Boadman seem to describe their bikes as small med and large yet this has a 28" label- do you know where that sits in the SML range ? Cheers Chris |

I suspect that the 28" relates to something other than the frame size. I can't see that frame being 28" but as always I stand to be corrected.

Also keen to know the size
Usual measure the distance (ST above) from the centre of the bottom bracket (crank) to the top of the seat tube... As Caterham says, 28" would be for a giant Cheers Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

my guess is it's 18-20"
crank arm is circa 200mm long and looks like the frame is about x3 of the crank arm. hope that helps and good luck. also 18" would tie in with the size of one of my bikes and I'm about 5'10". |
