Does it not depend on wheelbase ? 90 being the smaller one. Buy extra seal kits than you think you willneed! Cheers

Are you fitting normal pistons or stainless? Thinking of getting some stainless ones from Zeuss Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

why not just put on new calipers? the time spent rebuilding with new pistons and seals seldoms pays off. Cheers

exactly not that expensive if you factor in the time it takes to change pistons Cheers

I fitted a set of Zeus stainless pistons to the front calipers on my 90 about 6 years ago. They haven’t rusted, but the seal retaining rings have and the pistons have collected a lot of some kind of dirt/scale - to combined result of which is basically the same as rusty pistons. I could, and will in time, disassemble them to clean the pistons up and refit them with new seals.
As such, and while decent replacements continue to be available at reasonable prices, I would concur with JST’s advice above. |

I’ve gone for new rear calipers,
I replaced the front pair a few weeks ago with new ones, so seemed silly not to do the same with the rears. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |
