Earlier this week I had a quote to insure my 110 USW from the Thatcham office as suggested. The competitive quote was with a company called KGM Insurance. As I have never heard of them and as some of their reviews are not very good (brought to my attention by the staff member who did my quote) I would like to know more about them before I commit.

Any advice would be most welcome Bow down Discovery 4 HSE

Trust Pilot seems to have a lot more favourable reviews than unfavourable ones - what ever that means Question

I've insured both my Land Rovers with A-Plan and they seem to be on the ball so if they have their doubts about KGM I should ask them to quote you with another insurance company. Defender 90XS SW

Sorry, I didn't see this post.

KGM are one of the specialist insurers we use - we are very selective about our panel of insurers and there's a reason why we don't use a few of them (not naming any names).

Part of the Lloyd's syndicate they are a broker only insurer, which means the reviews are majority going to be down to the broker that dealt with the policy not KGM themselves... and this is rarely us as we are lovely Mr. Green if you look at aplan.co.uk on trust pilot we have 5 stars Thumbs Up
