110 Hard Top for Camping / Short Trips with two dogs
I purchased my 110 Hard Top with the intention of doing some shorts trips around the UK with my two German Shepherds, although I have never done much camping!!

Over the last few months I have been making some changes to the back and I am now starting to think about some other bits, which I have probably done in the wrong order albeit access for cables will be easy. I would be interested for any thoughts and guidance on the following: -

- Leisure battery installation - Type and location. My plan is to run a small fridge from it and maybe a couple of minor things. From other threads it looks like one might fit next to the existing battery. Is this the best place?
- 240v connection if I stay at a camp site - Would this be located under the rear arch or is there a better place? And any other guidance or things I should consider?
- Vent - With my dogs in the back and the three of us sharing I will need ventilation of some description. I was considering keeping the front windows slightly open and making something to stop anyone reaching in.

Thanks

England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Santorini Black
These work well, we do long continental trips with our 2 lurchers.

They also help with airflow through the USW, and are relatively secure.
Thumbs Up

OOPs just noticed you've got a hardtop - ignore above Whistle

Thanks that is the type of thing I would be looking for - I wonder whether I could modify to fit the front window...?
