hi will,
i bought a 200 tdi that already had the seats re-trimmed in outlast material and to be honest it was only fractionally more comfortable than my old neptune cloth originals. As i was in the market for replacement seats i did have a good look at their options at at Billing and came to the conclusion that if i had to get new seats then i would personally go for the scheelman (sp?) that exmoor do, with the lift out base, in neptune fabric if it was available. (the elite was comfortable but the scheelman seamed to have either a longer base or more support under the leg that i found more comfortable). Also mudstuff's seat risers make seating more comforable and i am only 5'7" hope this helps |

I have been considering upgrading the seats in my Defender and tried the elite seats out at the indoor 4x4 show. I also found that the seat base was too short. The back offered a bit more support and was higher than the standard seat but, when you consider the whole seat (and cost ) as a replacement, didn't think it was worth it.

Those seats look great! Do you have to have them with 'Exmoor Trim' stitched on them. Defender 110 XS 2007 Puma

I had this pair as a special order with the Land Rover logo fabric supplied by Trakkers.
I would have thought you could get the logo stiching dropped if you want. Very easy to install, comes with everything you need as a kit and you can have seat heaters fitted as an option. They slide rearwards much further than the standard seats with out the need for a riser kit and provide excellent leg support compared to std seats. |
