2015 MY Alpine H'd unit update ???
Hi All,

My factory fitted Alpine head unit display keeps going dim or disappearing completely + has done for some time but not really being too fussed ignored it as It comes back to life when touched (tapped).
I thought it was the connection as it's a face off model although I never remove, it but when I took my 90 in for its 3 yr service on Friday + told them they said it needs a 3hr update
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of please as i've got to call them on Tues re; booking it in ???

Thanks,
Mark

Never heard of the update, but mine does exactly the same thing.

Like you, I have just lived with it

Cheers Rasher + Ray

As it was the last service within the warranty I wanted to tell them as it would at least still be covered should it give up the ghost completely and once out of warranty I'd have no chance of getting it done.
I've now extended the warranty for another year anyway (how much ????) although i'm going to get it sorted one way or the other as it's even worse now we have some sunshine !!!!

Thanks,
Mark
