Alarm 10As Puma 2.4
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the alarm module of my defender Puma 2.4, every time I connect the alarm the car gives two horn sounds and it is not comfortable for my neighbors when I arrive very late at night. I tried to change it with the nanocom but I have not been able, any of you could guide me on how to do it, if possible.
The car sounds twice when the alarm is connected, but it does not turn on the turn signals, however when it is switched off it turns on the turn signals and does not sound.
Thanks for your interest and help

That sounds like the action for when you've left a door open. The horn will sound twice and not activate the alarm.

If you open all the doors and then close them again does the interior light stay on or anything?

Agree with the above, it "hoots" and doesn't flash the lights when locked if it thinks a door is open.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

thanks cupboard and Martin, the light stays on for 15 or 20 seconds and then it goes off if I connect the alarm it sounds twice and if I open a door the alarm sounds, that is to say if it connects the alarm and with the engine turned on the interior lights go off much faster

The bonnet switch will also have the same effect I think. As the alarm will think the bonnet is open.

Have you tried a AS10 re-set? Sit in the car, arm, unlock, open the door and close. Merlin.
