ADAC
Need to renew our recovery/breakdown cover. AA is mega expensive, cheapest I can find is ADAC. But noticed a post elsewhere on the net saying they no longer covered UK based vehicles.
Anyone confirm this?
Seems a load cheaper than the AA. They want £150 for me and the Mrs where as ADAC onlay want £95 for more cover. Seems a no brainer to me 110 D250 SE HT

We use britannia breakdown via our nationwide current account and can’t fault them! Given all the other insurance products etc it’s cheap, after intrest I think it’s about £7 a month.

Yes had ADAC for years and they were slowly reducing what they would recover and this year they refused to renew, stating that they can no longer economically cover those with home addresses outside Germany.

Last year they had stopped taking on new cusomters without German addresses but this year it includes those already with policies.

Wish they’d ruddy told me before I broke down on the A50 last week and had to pay for a live lane recovery Big Cry 2003 Zambezi Silver TD5 110 XS SW overland prepped....

Funny that as I renewed my ADAC membership just a couple of weeks ago, had confirmation that all was well etc too. That said I had heard that they were no longer taking on new business outside of Germany. Steve.
