This is a true story.
Last September I took my cigarette lighter plug out of its socket to power a Sat Nav, and when I came to replace the plug I could not find it anywhere. As I do not smoke in the Land Rover I was not that overly concerned, however, I searched and searched but the plug was nowhere to be found in the vehicle. Now during the last nine months I have hovered and thoroughly cleaned the interior, I have had the seats out etc. but to no avail, the plug, I never found. Now fast forward to present day. The bare socket bereft of a plug has been driving me mad, and I have struggled this week to find a replacement as Land Rover in their wisdom keeps changing the socket and plug and the one I have fitted is no longer available, so the only way I could replace the plug was to buy a new complete unit necessitating in the removal of part of the dash to fit it which is a pain. so I have not been a happy bunny this week. This morning I opened the driver’s door and climbed into the seat, and what caught my eye shining and glistening on the passenger seat was the cigarette plug. I have no idea how it got there the only one who lives at my home with me is my wife and she does not have any keys to the Defender and anyway she would not play that sort of joke, it’s a mystery and though I am very sceptical of such magical creatures, nevertheless, even though some may think Gilarion is losing the plot I can only think a Magic Fairy placed it there during the night, I can think of no other explanation. I suppose that makes my talismans, dream catchers, pendants, magic crystals and my lucky piece of touch wood redundant then.

Having owned my 110 for just over a year now, since I got it the central locking has never worked properly Then , when up at the forum gathering last weekend it has all of a sudden started to work perfectly
Defender fairy’s are real!! My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

Brendan I think a third option should be. 3. Gilarion needs to go to Spec Savers. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.

All I can say is in the past when all the assembly line workers had gone home and all was quiet at Load Lane, at the stroke of midnight something magical happened to Defenders, that's all I am saying.
