2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HT Cairns Blue

2.2 & 2.4 Hardtop / Commercial Road Tax?

Morning,

Can anyone confirm the road Tax/fund on commercial Pumas?

Does this differ on 2.2 and 2.4 ?

I'm looking at a couple of Hardtops and can't find commercial vehicles on the Dvla website..

Just paid £240 for my MY16 90 HT 2.2 in March '18.

Can't help you with the 2.4 sorry. Rob

If it is type approved as N1 it will be commercial rates, if M1 private ie expensive rates.

All hard top vans, Pickups (of any type) and Utility station wagons are commercial tax (N1), regardless of age or engine size. £240 per year.

Yes it was £240 but went up to £250 on 5th April. My reminder dated 22nd March said £240 but when I went to pay it online it had increased to £250. Defender 90XS SW

For station wagons with 3 rows of seats and windows all around yes.

But Pickups, vans and USW's are all commercial tax regardless of age.

2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Baltic Blue

I have a 110 utility which is taxed as a van I cannot remember exactly how much the road tax is but I think it is just over £200 maybe a bit more not much. I was told the Station wagon type was about double road tax but the utility is a commercial vehicle hence the lower road tax.
