Cheers guys, I’ve been toying with this for the past 2 years!
So it’s nice to get it sorted once and for all. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I rushed out and brought KBX front end, but never really took to it.
I like the light surrounds, but I just couldn’t make my mind up on the grille, I went from Matt black to Gloss, still not happy, Then Put the standard one back on, then back to the KBX! How it looked before.... Click image to enlarge I can now sleep at night... 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I brought the grille from a forum member,
I had it blasted and powder coated gloss black, then brought the lower grille from these.... https://www.zunsport.com/en/landrover-grilles 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Looking good Ian.
I have been thinking about doing the same mod on my 130 but wasn’t sure what to do with the holes, now I know. |

I love the look of the Zunsport - but £130 for a bit of mesh is madness
I'm having the same issues with my KBX grille. Came fitted with it but I've never been a huge fan of it. Bought one of the stamped metal grilles from ebay and have an air con surround in the garage - so will probably be doing the same to mine soon The heritage badge in the middle is a nice touch too 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320 |

Very nice that new grill with the wire mesh.
A big leap improved look as compared to the KBX. Which not really difficult of course. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw Last edited by ericvv on 5th May 2018 6:46pm. I couldn’t find a Heritage badge?
A friend of mine let me have 2 small alloy badges, they were really for the bottom of the wings! Click image to enlarge I couldn’t live with holes in the front Andrew. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |
