2.4 EGR PATCH
Anyone had an EGR patch on a 2.4 PUMA with no other tune , if so can you comment on any noticeable difference. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

no but highly recommend you get it done - keeping the engine cleaner and boost your mpg by 10%.

you're not far away. you should come try mine with 100k miles the engine is sweet as can be.

I've had both, but EGR shut down is very easy.
You can also have it programmed for complet shut down, or just with cleaning cycle still running but no EGR activity whilst running.
At least with Alive you can, I'm sure others are similar.

I'm sure, if you mention to Gary @Alive that I recommended him he may may be able to work something out for you if it's just an EGR shutdown only.

Yes - started with a BAS egr delete - all good - had the remote tuning device (Useful for fault code reading and clearing) so had a remap later - total revelation transformed drivability. Have since found that Pete's customer service is second to none.
