Flasher unit location??
Hi all
Just purchased a set of Wipac LED lights to fit to my 2006 TD5 Defender. Before fitting I need to replace the flasher unit with the newly supplied LED one. Can I hell as like find it? I thought it was located in the fuse box in front of the gearstick in the centre of the cab. Obviously not! Any advise would be greatly appreciated peeps!!

Know it for a Puma, but not for Td5. But the flasher clicking sound is produced by the relay. So try to locate where that sound comes from and you should find the relay.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Yep, behind the dash clock, but don’t bother putting the dash back on until you’ve done all the indicators as you need to be able to adjust the variable resistor. This will stop your trailer indicator light from coming on with every flash.
