1994 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Coniston Green

I've just bought a rough set of 5 for £90 with the idea of refinishing in gloss black then a week later a set of black turned up for £150.00.

It's the £60 per wheel refinish cost that puts them in the higher price category for take offs and mint wheel sets. I would have ended up paying £390 all in for a set of 5 refinished wheels no tires. Then as someone has said, £10 per wheel, new valves, balance and refit so £440.00 and then look for tires

out of interest, would a set of 5 svx go for around a similar price?

I think Svx reach a little more. There’s a couple of sets on eBay now
nothing to do with me I hasten to add but set of 4 with tyres at £600 and set of 5 £650, same seller.

I’ve seen them advertised for £1000 for a set of 5 with bf at’s fitted and in good nic, tyres had 12mm.
