Have gone back to the tubular bumper for the time being. Guess the beauty of Land Rovers is that parts can be changed so easily when you get bored. I am sure the galv bumper will be back on soon! I should probably go and take it off-road, instead of waiting for sunshine Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender

Looking great there Greeny, i think it would look better with the black canvas on
Are you leaving the tree sliders that colour or doing them black as well 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Thanks Clayton!
I am leaving the tree sliders as they are. I think they work well with the galv framework for the soft top. I could raptor them but I think I will leave them. Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender |

So things have changed slightly and I have just collected another Td5, this one being one of the last ever TD5s in Tonga Green County spec. I was on the look out for another one and this one got offered to me by a friend.
Drove it 170miles home last night with no issues and began cleaning it underneath to see what was what. Sadly it began raining and I had to come inside. Plans with this one will be to clean the whole car inside and out to see what is good and bad. Then a major service and then the changes and mods can begin. Looking to keep it fairly standard but with some tasteful changes, a remap is needed for sure! It already has some nice little mods like the steering guard from Alive, LED's and twisted stage 1 remap ( stage 2 needed). The soft top landy will be up for sale soon if anyone is interested. More photos to come! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender |
