might sound silly, but have thought about replacing the battery in your key fob?

Fistly, is it a standard fit alarm immobiliser or aftermarket Alarm with/without immobilizer? If it's standard what alarm unit is fitted, 10AS?
Does the Alarm work as it should? (Try leaving a window open and opening the door from the inside too see if it trips) How many Key fobs and how many buttons? Have you tried another fob? Have you replaced the Key fob batteries lately? If so did you do it within 10 mins? Have you tried it with just the key to lock and unlock? And if so does the Landy start, operate as normal? My initial thinking, barring a faulty Alarm/immobilizer is that the fobs have become unsynched from the alarm ecu meaning the alarm doesn't recognize the rolling code it receives, meaning no de activation of Alarm/immobilizer. If you can answer the above questions as best you can then we should be able to point you in the right direction HTH Brian |
