If it's the one in the picture, it certainly looks like a Series III - grill and door hinges - but 1971 was the changeover year from the IIa. Darren

But who cares it far from original with a V8 under the bonnet anyway. So the one on Facebook for £3-4K might not be too bad if it’s in good condition. He'd double the value of it if he put on a Maltese Cross grille.
They're not cheap these days. (I'm not going to tease James with a pic of my soft-top, but he's close enough to maybe drive it! ) |
