I may be wrong but have you tried putting the yellow insert in the other way up? Ray

No I just put it in the same way as all the others, sidelights and indicators etc
As far as I recall they would only go in 1 way mk1 Last edited by RANGER1312 on 10th Apr 2018 10:07pm. Edited 1 time in total |

It's a long time since I put my Nas lights on but I remember the yellow bits only went one way but with the stop/tail lights having more wires it might fit slightly different? Feel free to ignore me I'm just trying to think of anyway it might not fit Ray

sorry mate it's only the rear fog and reverse going NAS, all the rest are just standard size
The stop/ tail lights do have an extra black wire in and everything all connected as it should, it's just that with the yellow inserts in they won't click together but will click together without them however I don't want to risk shorting the lights |

I had the rdx lights in before my Nas ones but I've just got a niggling thought in the back of my memory that I got the yellow bit the wrong way up and had the same problem. I was a long time ago and my memory is rubbish so I'm probably wrong Ray

I'm sure they would only go together one way but I'll check it out

I have the RDX lights on my Defender; including the NAS lights.
I know the inserts you mention as I had to fit them; I can't remember having any problems and they all went together without a problem (no bits left over). Have you pushed the yellow insert all the way home? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defe...1335161927 Some useful close up photos |

Click image to enlarge I’ve fitted RDX NAS lights all round - I had so many problems with the two tail / brake lights not clipping together I sacked them off and soldered the wires together in the end. I actually had to replace one of them yesterday as it had failed ( the light not the solder) same red , black and white wires on the led lamps but I had to rewrire them differently than the previous light - took ages to find the right combination! |

Thanks Beeder, so I'm not the only one then...
Don't understand it as literally every other one went together perfect like they were genuine LR items but the 2 stop/ tail lights just aren't playing ball! |
