Excesive play on the output shaft of the transfer case (replacement box received) and now the driveshaft to the front axle is falling apart. It's like a real landy Laughing Also the body doesn't really fit properly over the mounting point so I guess I'll be making somethin new myself Rolling Eyes

Oh yeah, I remember reading that now. With the body, you may find it's the body rather than the chassis. I had similar issues (mine didn't fit properly fore and aft) and thought the chassis was out but the body curves in at the rear door. I made a couple of brackets that ran up the inside of the rear X member and body to push it out slightly. I would beef up those axle cases's too, I broke a few until I reinforced them.

Well the mounting tubes push the body outwards. Also the rear bumper is curved. I also have measured the spacing between the 2 frame rails and that was all over the place, corrected the worst bits of it but still not perfect but it works.
After I lowered the supension 1 hole the axle rods hit the GRU when it's fully compressed. Also had to drill out the mounting hole for the motor cause it was 1mm to small for any of my motors (including tamiya motors). And 1 screw snapped of when I undid it to mount the sumpgaurd. I think the fastners are a bit low quality to be honest.
As for the axles 1 steering knuckle is cracked but i'm gonna run it till it falls appart and than mount the spare casings RC4WD provided. And after that I will probably make or buy some metal casings.
How did you reinforce your axle casings?

I reinforced mine using polymorph. Where they cracked/broke, I used superglue then covered the whole area with polymorph. Apart from the left steering arm developing another crack (fixed as above), they've held up pretty well considering it's used near enough everyday.

Sounds like you've had some real issues with it. Apart from the front axle/knucles cracking, the only problem I've had is the screw in one of the body mounting tubes was stuck/rusted in when I got it. They replaced that and the rest of the kits been fine.
