The return to redness continues Smile.

The wheels were originally red in service so put them back, along with some more fitting tyres...

Probably now is I'm going to have to the rest of the bodywork to bring it up to speed with the wheels.....

Can't claim the credit for the Massey, the guy I bought it off 8 years back restored it, it does get polished a lot though and doesnt look too bad for a 56 year old vehicle Smile

Few more bits and bobs done and a decent polish, gonna hold off on the respray as its looking ok in its original 1985 paint at the mo Smile

Been off the road for a month or so as a wagtail built a nest in the wheel arch and had a bunch of chicks.. They've all fledged now but they left me with 10,000 bird mites to deal with which got into the cab! Steam cleaner has sorted that out.

My little red lightweight has made it on to the front cover of next months LRO mag Smile
It was the last one out of 40k or so they built and they're doing a bit of a piece as it's 50 years since they were started.

Time for the gearbox to come out....
Teeth on the ring gear on the flywheel stripped.....

Looks like it's going to get its refurb sooner than I thought.

Screen, vent panel and hardtop coming off in the next couple of days, followed by the rear tub.
Can get to work on the chassis then. All looking solid, just needing a bit of a rob down and some paint.

Yes, not bad, no repairs required which is a bonus Smile. Gearbox will be out soon and then get the chassis painted.
