So i got out of the house for an hour this afternoon and decided to fit the gearbox sensor boss into the hp22 sump.
Click image to enlarge Got the sump off and positioned the boss in a place that will hopefully be quite well protected. Click image to enlarge The gearbox is pretty clean but the filter needs a change. Lets hope it's up to the job! Click image to enlarge Back in place, it fits between the filter and the gearbox mech. Not alot of room to mount the probe inside the sump. Click image to enlarge back on the gearbox. Not bolting it down hard as it'll be off again when she's the right way up and installed. Next job is to strip the 90 out, when i get 5 mins. |

Marcus, what did you pay for the box out of interest? did you get a 4.6 one or a std one and then a bigger TC? Cheers

std HP22e with a uprated TC, i've uprated the TC i my D2 and the improvement is quite substantial. When i get some serious HP out of my td5 i expect i'll get it rebuilt to HP24 spec. The extra length you spoke about put me off the HP24 for now. As for cost, i was a VERY good deal |

sorry, i put a wanted ad up on the net and i had a reply.
tbh you can do without qite nicely once you get your headaround the layout of the auto shifter. imo the NAS console isn't worth what they charge for it. |

I agree, it's an expensive bit of plastic but not as crazy as the genuine ones which were nearer £ 600 when they were available, we now have some in stock, Dave |

Not a pop at you and yours David, just reporting that for £300 odd pounds you get a centre console! Regardless of the fact the LR take the double at £600 odd! I paid less than the cost of a genuine NAS console for all my parts....maybe that puts it into context? |
