Hi and welcome to the site. Well my opinion is that Ford got involved and cheapened all the parts and the new Defender has suffered because of this. Not much help I know, all I can suggest is to keep your dealer on your side and keep on at land rover until its fixed.

Hi hoarder
Welcome to the forum. We had a leaking in the passenger side, was fixed by the dealer, but I didnt have the possibility to check it yet (summer here = not rain). I don't have any leaking problems in the side panels. So, must be fixeable. I remember a friend that had a similar problem in the rear part but not in the side.
