1993 Defender 110 200 Tdi SW Montpellier Red

TDI wiper/washer controls

I'm unable to discern from the wiring diagram are the TDI wiper switches relayed or does power flow through them? I just finished up wiring my post 2002 TD5 rear fog light switch and need to complete the switch conversion for the wiper and rear washer.

I have the buttons, but I understand they are not rated for switched current and need a relay. It was unclear to me if the existing TDI switches were already hooked up to relays.

Anyone gone the TDI to TD5 dash upgrade and completed the switch conversions?
