[Wanted] Force Ten Mk5 Tent
Long shot I know but does anyone have one of these surplus to their requirements? Looking for the original cotton fly version, not the nylon one.

Hi Laurie, ideally I’m wanting something bigger - the 4 man but if that avenue dries up I’ll probably compromise on the size. You have a 2 man available?

I have a Mk4 (3 man), a few years old but in good condition - may consider selling...

I possibly have two 2 man Vangos. I would have to dig them out to make sure they're both complete and the mice etc. haven't been nibbling. They're probably about forty years old and have been well used but were in good repair last time I used them about 30 years ago.

Laurie, that’s very kind but please don’t go to the trouble. I’m still hoping to get fixed up with a larger size.

In the meantime, just in case I have to get back to you, please can you buy a cat! Very Happy

I bought an old Scottish made Mk4 a couple of months ago on eBay, it was ex MOD and in reasonable condition. I’ve bought a big tin of fabsil though as it ‘wetted out’ when I put the hose on it. I think it would be 3 man but even then I intend to use it just for a dog and myself. They tend to have a loyal following, apparently pretty much bulllet proof - maybe that’s why the MOD use them Rolling with laughter - and I read of them being described as the Land Rover of tents because they go forever. Hopefully the tent will leak less than the Landy though Rolling Eyes
