Just done the heater vent rings too,
It’s amazing how such a simple job can transform the way things look! I was contemplating on changing the colour on the dial faces, But prefer the standard back colour to be honest. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Hihi. I did them too in matt black. Those 5 spots of silver can really really irritate a person. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

I've got something on the go too, but haven't released info to the D2 press yet. Might be a little while yet in the making, I have lot of things in the pipeline at the moment it's a job to keep up. I've never quite understood the appeal of Alu rings etc, if they are painted there is no difference between it or plastic only wasting money for the hidden base material. Unless of course it's anodised, but I'm not keen on that metal like look anyway. Mine are gloss black currently, but I have another set ready to go on when I have everything else sorted. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 Last edited by custom90 on 10th Mar 2018 1:29pm. Is that a Checktemp mounted in the dash? That’s the next on the list, I really need to go down the double din route!.... 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Jup.
It's the nakatanenga double din. But there's a hole in it. Long story short I found some parts missing on the defender so I started to 3d design. And that is one the parts I have designed and produced. Same for the telephone mount which is behind the Brodit adapter. I would really like to produce these kind of products. I find it fun to design a produce these type of things (as a hobby, I have an other, totally different, day job ). In the past the products would be far to expensive to produce, but since the last year the prices have dropped. But... the production price is one thing, but this specific part takes several hours of postproduction so the price would be astronomical. But recently I found a really good production facility and we are currently looking to produce this part also in a way that wouldn't cost to much post production time to finish them. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |
