Most of the DIY places now sell flat bar, so you can make a longer one.

Much cleaner than my bodge of vice-grips and bearing puller parts, but you gotta make do with what ya got
I plan do similar next time though. I should have measured (!) but what centres are the bolts at? Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

Perfect timing! I was just about to put the fan back on. It’s about 68mm 👍🏼
What I would say though is if you do it the way I did the edge of the spanner or bar or whatever you’re using rests on the lip of the idler pulley so you only need one bolt. Careful with your knuckles though! Dave |

Similar here: old bike tool (Shimano Hollowtech2 spanner), two m4 holes 71mm apart (don't know how much that is in imperial stones per quart) and two screws:
