hi guys,
As a slight aside (this is the first, most relevant thread that's popped up in my search) is it possible to use a tdci bulkhead into a 300 while using the orginal fittings - heater, pedals, dash etc? This is for a friend's 300tdi 90 and a tdci bullhead has appeared for sale locally. Just asking in case it's a viable solution, or would it be a great deal easier to use a tdi bulkhead? Pretty sure he'd have no interest in upgrading the instruments etc. When I did mine a while ago I'm fairly sure it was a Td5 bulkhead that went in, and while it might have needed a little fettling it was nothing major, but I'm not even vaguely familiar with the tdcis. (Edit - sorry, should maybe have worked my way further down the search results before posting https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic60808...i+bulkhead this thread suggests it's maybe more trouble than it's worth) Ta Donald 1994 Defender 300Tdi 110 SW - owned since 2002 - 230k miles and going strong (The 'rolling restoration' or tinkering thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic58538.html ) 2000 Range Rover P38 4.0L V8 in the past..
