Have you got a Roof Rack? If so be careful, as alot of the multi stories have about a 2m Maximum height. I can normally just squeeze in when they are just over 2m, but you wont with a rack on. Current:D4 HSE Gone: BMW Z4MC Gone: Defender TD5 90 CSW Previous: Discovery TD5 ES (Gone) |

Nah no roof rack. I've never taken it into a multistory car park before. Struggled in France as most of the height limits were stupidly small. I'm guessing theres not much in the way of out-door parking?

I do have a rack and a 110. Lots of onstreet parking in London is 2-hour max, and can be a tight squeeze.
So I park in a big open air park in Hammersmith (near Lyric theatre) and take the tube. It has not got a height limit. (There is a bar, but moved to side and not in use). Recently in France I could not get into three successive supermarket petrol stations because of height limit. 2009 110 SVX 60th Anniversary - Santorini Black |

My parents live 15 mins. away from Abbey Road, but their drive is full!
But, if the concert is after 6.30pm at night, you can park for FREE (yes really!) in Inner Circle of Regents Park, which is only a 10 min. walk to abbey road. Parking spaces are usually easy to find there in the evenings, too. HTH, 2010 110 XS USW (the slow one) 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (the fast one) 2005 Ducati ST3 1954 Sunbeam S8 |

No multi-storey car=parks to worrk about, but don't park at Hyde Park underground NCP as even without the roof rack it will be too tall.
As said, you should be fine finding somewhere to park in the evening, but avoid residents bays specifically and perhaps give yourself 20 mins extra to find a spot. James |

Excellent stuff! Free parking is my favourite type!
We'll be hopefully getting there about 4-ish, but if it's pay and display until half 6 then can just pay for a couple of hours. Am I right in thinking I'll be out of the way of the congestion charge too? |

If you come in on the A40/M40 or M1 then you won't get as far as the congestion charge. If you do come in on the A40 then give us a toot as you go by!

Think we'll be coming down the M1.
However if Big Black throws another strop whilst in London we might drop in... |

If you're coming in via M1, then follow A41 through Swiss Cottage, Finchley Rd etc, and turn left into inner circle, by London Mosque, then yes, you'll avoid the congestion charge.

Well, Big Black did me proud and was faultless to London and back!
Managed to luckily get an on street parking space just round the corner from Abbey Road, and cost about £4! Short stroll to the nearest Tube station and straight into central London for a few hours before! For anyone interested, the gig is on Radio 2 now, and video highlights on the BBC Red Button at 10... |
