Fitting 4.0 v8
Hi all,
Has anyone fitted a 4.0v8 auto from a discovery into a defender?
My disco 4.0 v8 has failed the MOT and I have a defender in need of a new engine so have decided to somehow fit the 4.0 v8.
What is the situation with the ECU? Apparently you can have the ECU re programmed?

Any other difficulties to watch for in terms of wiring?
All help appreciated.

Do a search on here - Pardeep is doing what you are thinking of but has had a few problems...
