2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Java Black
2.4 Puma Fuel Pump Relay Location
Gents,

Any thoughts on how I identify which of the 3 relays is the fuel pump relay?

Yes, it's none of them! 2.4 has a mechanical pump!

As said not on the 2.4 only on 2.2

That’s why the 2.4 is a Censored to bleed. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

This is true of TD5's and 2.2 Puma's but the 2.4 doesn't have a lift/transfer pump.

Sorry to contradict, but it has a suction pump that brings fuel through filter to the high pressure pump. The fuel pressure from the suction pump is levelled by the VCV. They are both in one housing!

There is no electric pump on the 2.4, there is a single two-stage mechanical pump on the nearside front of the engine.

Which is a mechanical pump not an electric one, so there's no relay for it. Rolling Eyes

The 2.2 and Td5 both have an electric in tank lift pump, the 2.4 doesn't.
