Managed to order 5w-20 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil instead of 5w-30. Any experts out there to tell me if I can use this without worry.

new engines are designed to run with specific grades of oil! especially if you have a 2.2 with DPF fitted! id send it back and get the right stuff for the engine. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I would not use that grade of oil. I always use Millers fully synthetic 5w-30 from Opie Oils For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Oil with the correct Ford grade is readily available, so I wouldn't bother with the stuff you have personally.

Thanks for your advice, I have contacted Opie and they have now collected the oil and have sold me the correct grade.
